Meet the Team

Sushi Sushi franchise is led by a visionary team of executives who are passionate about your success

Stan Greene

Stanley Greene

Master Franchisee, New Zealand

Stanley signed the Master Franchisee Agreement rights for New Zealand in June of 2024, and took over the store ownership of the existing Botany Town Centre location at the same time. Sushi Sushi Botany Town Centre (opposite Starbucks) has been trading for more than five (5) years.

As CEO, Stanley brings his dedication to supporting franchisee development, identifying profit opportunities, striving for operational excellence and a better customer experience to lead the way for the Team Kiwi and develop the role of ‘the Brand Bus Driver’ for Sushi Sushi in the New Zealand marketplace.

With a 29 year background with the SUBWAY brand as a Development Agent and franchisee, Stanley has owned and operated a total of 14 stores at different times as the franchisee of record over this period - as well as developing and opening 64 stores for the brand working with greenfield and shopping centre locations, site selection, lease negotiations and execution, store plans and design across five (5) different major decor styles, store builds, store remodels, equipment ordering, staff selection and training, product marketing support and new equipment roll-out, customer software and app development as well as crew training and university on-line portal development.

The Christchurch earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 presented the biggest franchisee support challenges, as well as operation of stores during the Christchurch mosque attacks and more recently the COVID-19 Pandemic years.

Favourite thing about being part of the Sushi Sushi family: Watching and assisting our franchisee partners grow their business and ‘customer-love’ over time, championing our success stories - as well as supporting our wider crew-community through our training programs which helps them develop their skill-set and shape their future opportunities.
